About

The Original Coffee Club is a media platform today. It is also a brand in the making.

The community and the content come first, because trust is built through stories, not announcements. As the platform grows, it will expand naturally into the worlds it already touches: interiors, fashion, food, and lifestyle, covered with the same editorial depth we bring to coffee.

What has grown alongside the content is something we did not entirely plan: a community of people who share the same instinct: that there is more in a well-made cup of coffee than caffeine, and more in a well-designed space than aesthetics.

Curious minds. Creative individuals. People who appreciate what it takes to build something with intention, and who find in the ritual of coffee a moment worth protecting in an otherwise relentless day.

This community is at the centre of everything we are building. The content serves it. The stories belong to it. What comes next is being shaped by it.

Every culture has a cup. Every cup has a story. We are here to tell them.

Sukhmani, founder of The Original Coffee Club, seated with an iced coffee.

Hi, I'm Sukhmani. Friends call me Sukh.

Originally from Chandigarh, India, I moved to Paris and developed a habit I have never tried to break: walking into beautiful coffee shops and paying close attention not just to the coffee, but the design, culture and conversations around it.

Over time, that curiosity deepened. Cafés became more than just places to visit. They became a way of understanding a city. Through them, I found myself observing everyday life more closely, meeting people from different walks of life, and forming connections that felt both unexpected and meaningful.

I've always been drawn to experiences that feel authentic, whether it's discovering a new place, understanding different cultures, or simply listening to people and the stories they carry. There is something I find deeply compelling in the way everyday spaces hold layers of meaning, if you take the time to notice.

In a fast-paced world, cafés create space: for conversation, for reflection, and for genuine human connection. They bring together people from different backgrounds, each with their own perspectives, yet sharing the same moment, even if briefly. That sense of presence, of quiet connection, is something I value deeply.

The Original Coffee Club grew from a desire to recreate that feeling, to build a space that reflects the essence of these encounters. A space where culture can be experienced, where conversations unfold naturally, and where people can connect beyond the surface. Not just through coffee, but through the stories, perspectives, and moments that shape the way we experience the world.

I noticed that a coffee shop, when built with real intention, is also an interior design statement, a fashion moment, a food philosophy, a life lived with taste. The story was never just in the cup.

There is something I find deeply compelling in the way everyday spaces hold layers of meaning, if you take the time to notice. Cafés offer exactly that.
